Canadian holiday gift towers are a good choice when sending a Christmas gift basket to Ontario, Canada.  They ship well, look beautiful  and house delicious treats…what more can you ask for.  Our three tier gift towers Warmest Wishes, Tis the Season and Pretty Poinsettias are all very popular.  We always like to carry some of these three tier design gift boxes and no matter how many we create, they always seem to sell out every year!  I can understand why. The boxes are truly beautiful!  I have had customers stack them up beside their fireplace as a Christmas accent piece.  Others have placed them on a side table and used them to hold everything from Christmas cards to potpourri.  I had one customer utilize them when throwing a holiday party.  She used the largest gift box to hold all of her guests’ car keys.  At the end of the evening they were given either their car keys or a  ride home if they had had too much to drink during the evening.  It was a great non-confrontational way to keep her friends safe.  I enjoy hearing all the creative ways our customers have used these gift boxes to build memories.  There is no plan to discontinue these beautiful gifts anytime soon, so I look forward to many more stories about them.

Today’s forecast is calling for plenty of sun and 80 degrees.  This is the weather which I thrive in.  While I look at my flowers beginning to really flourish, I am sitting at my patio table writing this blog.  What I will be doing next might surprise a lot of customers……I will be beginning my Christmas designs!  There is something surreal about feeling the warm breeze and looking at red and white items that resemble Santa!  But in reality, this planning time is a perfect fit for me as I am most creative in the warm spring and summer months. I am always very pleased (and sometimes surprised) at the gift basket designs that I arrive at! These designs won’t come to fruition for many months, but it feels great to set the groundwork as I sip a cold glass of lemonade and lift my face to the warm sun!

At Boodles of Baskets, we think the container, which can be environmentally friendly,  is as important as the products that go into it.  Nowadays, a gift basket doesn’t neccessarily have to come in a wicker basket.  All sorts of containers and gift baskets can be used.   Most of our line includes re-usable items like ceramic planters, metal tins, cd cases, even large magazine racks.  In the past, we have used wooden sleighs, light up table decorations and metal tins painted with beautiful holiday scenes, during Christmas, to make the gift extra special.  We do utilize wicker baskets as well, and they make beautiful containers, especially for sympathy baskets, but it is nice to have several re-usable options to choose from.  Our goal is to always offer original and creative baskets that you will be proud to send.
